  • 5 medium sized potatoes, diced and boiled.
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp amchoor powder (optional)
  • 2 tsps of oil
  • Salt to taste and some coriander leaves for garnishing

Diced the boiled potatoes, Heat oil in a pan.

Add cumin seeds and let it brown

Add asafoetida

Add potatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, amchoor powder and salt to taste.

Mix well and saute it for a minute or two.

Add coriander powder and cumin powder and stir it gently.

Ensure the potatoes do not get smashed Saute on high flame for few minutes to get crisp potatoes Switch off the flame Garnish with coriander leafs.

Serve hot
